Everyone at our practice is committed to providing you with the very best in pet healthcare. Our veterinary team bring a wealth of experience to the practice and have individually obtained high standards of professional qualification.

Kate Arrowsmith
Veterinary Surgeon

Qualified in 1983 from Murdoch, Western Australia. Kate spent a year and a half in a mixed small animal, equine and farm animal practice just outside Perth before changing to purely small animal practice. She has worked in Australia, England, Wales and South Africa as well as seeing practice in the USA, before settling in Kent and openning St Paul's Veterinary Clinic in April 2001. She has a special interest in canine and feline reproduction and intends to pursue further qualification in this area.

In her spare time, she breeds, shows and judges Rough Collies and is on the committee of London and Provincial Collie Club as the Health Coordinator. She also enjoys watching the Wallabies rugby team - especially the occasions when they beat England at Twickenham!

Peter Shaw
Veterinary Surgeon

Hi, my name is Peter and I am from Australia. I have been locuming as a veterinarian in England for over a year now, and I have held a long term locum placement at the St Paul´s Veterinary Clinic since August 2009. I play cricket at the Orpington Cricket Club in the summer and try not to freeze during the winter. I enjoy travelling, and have made it to various places such as Paris, Brussels, Germany, Egypt and Scotland. I have relatives in Kent and a strong British link originating from Portsmouth. Hence I follow the Portsmouth Football Club. I hope I can be of assistance to you and your well loved and cared for pets.

Vicky Hallett
Practice Manager

I've been nursing for seventeen years and still love my job. I have a special interest in behavioural problems and am currently studying for a qualifictation in this field. I am also actively involved in rescue and rehoming cats.

I have three dogs and four cats, all rescued. I also have four horses and my own stable yard.

Terry Kemp
Veterinary Nurse

I've been nursing for the past eleven years now and love my job. Every day is so different. There are sad times but many good times. I run an animal rescue centre called Happy Endings Rescue. This is a big part of my life. We rescue all kinds of animals from horses and sheep to cockerels and guinea pigs. I do lots of fundraising for my charity for it to continue. Our website address is www.happyendingsrescue.org.

Kizzie Millard
Veterinary Nurse

I've been nursing for seven years and find it very interesting and rewarding. I mostly enjoy educating clients in pet care. As well as working at St Paul's Veterinary Clinic, I also work at our emergency service as an emergency nurse.

Another interest of mine is horses. I've had horses for fifteen years and furthered my knowledge and have trained to become a horse riding instructor.
