Plans For The Future

Crook

We are currently planning changes to our clinic in Crook.

We are shaping these changes in line with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons criteria to become a Veterinary Nurse training practice. This will allow us to create more jobs here in Crook and to allow current and future employees to gain the Veterinary Nursing qualification.
Our plans include a new operating theatre, new laboratory, designated x-ray room and prep room, a cat only ward, recovery kennels and a staff kitchen. We also plan to add a second consulting room and create a ‘No Dogs Allowed’ section within our waiting room where cats will be faced away from dogs while waiting to see the vet.

Both our cat ward and our cat waiting area will have ‘FELIWAY’ synthetic feline facial pheromone in use to mark these areas as safe and secure and, hopefully, make the visit to the vets less stressful for cats.

Our dog ward will also be getting a make-over and with the addition of an exterior door clients visiting their dogs in hospital will be able to take them for a walk around the garden if their pet’s condition allows it.
