The Stourport Team

BILL ROSIE Veterinary Surgeon [Director]
BVM&S MRCVS

Having qualified from Edinburgh in 1976 I headed south, working in Yorkshire, Somerset and New Zealand before joining the practice in 1982. I have been a partner since 1985 and am responsible for the farm and equine side of the practice, also the Stourport surgery and clients. Married to Sarah, we have 3 children and together have accumulated a horse, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 goldfish, various chickens, and previously guinea pigs, hamsters and rabbits. I enjoy the variety of the different challenges in my work but find windsurfing, playing bridge and tennis a good way to keep my stress levels almost under control.

STEFFEN KUTSCHKE Veterinary Surgeon
M.R.C.V.S

I qualified from Berlin University Vet School in 1994 and worked in Yorkshire before coming to work in Worcestershire in 2000. My professional interests are in small animal surgery/orthopaedics, and large animal practice. My partner is also a vet and works in 2 local practices. We have three children and together we enjoy camping and various outdoor pursuits.

Coming from London via Cambridge, Somerset and the Wirral, I find myself settled in Worcestershire, enjoying the countryside with my 5 cats and concentrating on the small animal patients at the Vale Vet Group. I am passionate about theatre, good food and travel.

SUE HINTON Receptionist

I joined the Vale Vet Group in 1983 as a receptionist and consider myself to be ?part of the furniture? (Chippendale, of course). As a member of the Sebastian Coe Health Club I use the gym regularly and swim half a mile daily before work.

SARAH ROSIE Financial Secretary

In 1978 I took the family terrier to the vets in Somerset, and consulted the young vet from Edinburgh. This led to world travel, settling in Worcestershire and raising a family here. I started work for the practice in 1982 as wives used to take all the out of hours ?phone calls. 18 years later I began the ?proper? job of financial secretary with responsibility for payroll and the practice?s accounts. I like to play tennis.
