| Having qualified from Edinburgh in 1976 I headed south, working in Yorkshire, Somerset and New Zealand before joining the practice in 1982. I have been a partner since 1985 and am responsible for the farm and equine side of the practice, also the Stourport surgery and clients. Married to Sarah, we have 3 children and together have accumulated a horse, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 goldfish, various chickens, and previously guinea pigs, hamsters and rabbits. I enjoy the variety of the different challenges in my work but find windsurfing, playing bridge and tennis a good way to keep my stress levels almost under control. |

| In 1978 I took the family terrier to the vets in Somerset, and consulted the young vet from Edinburgh. This led to world travel, settling in Worcestershire and raising a family here. I started work for the practice in 1982 as wives used to take all the out of hours ?phone calls. 18 years later I began the ?proper? job of financial secretary with responsibility for payroll and the practice?s accounts. I like to play tennis. |
