Why Choose Our Veterinary Practice 

THE PRACTICE – HOW WE WORK

Appointments – Please ring during normal business hours.  If you wish to see a particular veterinary surgeon, please mention this when you phone.

Home Visits – please ring before 10.30am and as soon as is practicable, we will be happy to call.

Routine Operations – are admitted between 8.30am and 9.00am.   Unless otherwise specified, please ensure your pet has NOT eaten for the previous 12 hours, but always allow access to water.

Repeat Prescriptions – please give 24 hours’ notice and we can have your prescription ready for you to collect.

Test Results – if you can arrange to phone between 4.00-4.30pm it gives us time to discuss the results with you in greater detail.

Fees – we ask for payment when we see your pet at consultation or collection time at the surgery.  We accept cash, cheques [with banker’s card], major credit cards, Switch and Delta [including over the phone].  If you realise payment is going to be a problem – please tell us before treatment begins and together we can discuss the best way to proceed. [also over phone].

Estimates – we routinely provide estimates for our operating and investigative procedures.  However, the full extent of a problem may only become apparent during surgery and may therefore lead to unforeseen costs.

Insurance – don’t wait for disaster to strike!  We believe this is vital for the best health care for your pet – and for your peace of mind, please ask any of our staff.

Pet Passports and Export Certificates
We are DEFRA approved for export and health certification, rabies vaccines and appropriate blood testing.  Please ring first to establish your requirements.

Emergencies – the practice is on 24-hour standby.   01293 531791
