On Sunday 15th August The Oxford Cat Clinic opened its doors to all visitors on their Open Day. This was a way of allowing members of the public the chance to look behind the scenes of their cat-only veterinary practice. Thankfully the sun decided to shine allowing us to take advantage of summer day!

The afternoon offered interesting displays allowing people to unravel the mysteries of what happens to their cat when it comes in to the hospital, how it is cared for and how we all work together to offer both client and cat a premium service. Visitors enjoyed the presence of 4 very energetic kittens who were staying with us that weekend. Being fit and healthy Bengal cats, they loved the chance to parade and show off to our visitors.

Children were also encouraged to join in with fun and games, with Jo and Nikki offering face painting, looking for bugs, finding the microchipped cat and helping us decorate our paper mache cat. Tea and cakes, in an outside marquee were welcomed by their parents.

The staff certainly enjoyed the opportunity to step outside of the clinics routine and show clients the level of care we can offer.

We hope to repeat it next year.
