We are fortunate to be able to offer this service in conjunction with the chartered physiotherapists at Bradford Veterinary Physiotherapy.
Physiotherapists restore and maintain mobility, function, independence and performance by using an in-depth knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and physiology and pathology. This enables the physiotherapist to assess and treat musculoskeletal problems.
Therefore, physiotherapy is useful in the treatment of a wide number of orthopaedic conditions, such as cruciate rupture, muscle injuries, or osteoarthritis. The physiotherapists also use specialised equipment to aid in the healing of wounds. The veterinary surgeons and physiotherapists work together in tailoring treatment regimes for specific conditions and for rehabilitation following surgery.
Clinics run every Wednesday at the Droitwich surgery or at other times by arrangement.
