Nursing Team

Vanessa - Head NurseVanessa - Head Nurse

Ness has been with the practice since 1994 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2004. She has a keen interest in radiography, assisting in theatre and anaesthesia. Outside of work she enjoys gardening and horse riding.

 


 

Sue - Senior NurseSue - Senior Nurse

Sue also joined the practice in 1994 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2005. Her interests are in laboratory work and bereavement. Outside of work she enjoys rugby and is a keen supporter of Worcester Warriors. She is also a member of Worcestershire young farmers.

 


 

GemmaGemma - Nurse

Gemma has worked with a variety of species of animals since completing the National Diploma in Applied Science Animal Management at Solihull College in 2004. Gemma joined us in 2009 as a nursing assistant and currently working towards her veterinary nursing qualification.

 


 

Becky - Nursing AssistantBecky - Nursing Assistant

Becky works on the small animal team as a nursing assistant. She enjoys all aspects of the role, with a particular passion for exotics, the stranger the better. At home she has 3 cats 2dogs and geckos. In her spare time she loves to walk her dogs in the countryside and study.

 


 

Bridget - Nursing AssistantBridgett - Nursing Assistant

Bridget has a keen interest in both domestic and wild animals; completing the Animal Management National Diploma at Solihull College in 2008 and a BSc (Hons) Animal Conservation Science Degree at the University of Cumbria in 2012. In her spare time she loves to travel and explore the world - specifically areas where wildlife is abundant!

 


 

Claire - Nursing AssistantClaire - Nursing Assistant

Claire has been with the practice since 2009. Her interests are working with all kinds of animals and helping clients with bereavement.

Outside work she enjoys Diy. Gardening and looking after her 16yr old Jack Russell and her son.

 


 

Scott - Nursing AssistantScott - Nursing Assistant

Scott Joined the Practice in 2014 as an Animal Nursing Assistant. Scott’s interests are nutrition and Orthopaedics.   

Outside of work Scott is kept very busy with his family wife Charlotte and son Leo. He has 2 amazing dogs Jimmy and Cookie. Scott's a West Bromwich Albion fan and goes to as many games as possible when not working.

 


 

Reception Team

Barbara - ReceptionistBarbara - Receptionist

Barbara joined the small animal reception team in February 2016. In her spare time she enjoys walks with her dog and joining her husband flying birds of prey, with several pets and 2 teenage sons, Barbara keeps herself very busy.

 


 

Kate - ReceptionistKate - Receptionist

Kate started working here in 1999, helping in the large animal office. She now works on the small animal reception 4 days a week. Kate has 2 sons and enjoys gardening, horse’s, cats and her 3 black Labradors.

 

 


 

Karen - ReceptionistKaren - Receptionist

Karen has been with the practice for 2 and half years now, originally she worked as a fitness instructor, where she spent 29 years putting people through their paces. 

Sport and Animals are her 2 passions and she feels very privileged to have worked with both.
