Mr K.J.MacLeod, BVMS MRCVS
I am the Principal Veterinary Surgeon at Mainstone Veterinary Clinic.
I qualified from Glasgow University Veterinary School in 1982 and spent the next seven years in a variety of practices, both in this country and abroad.
I bought the Mainstone Veterinary Clinic from its previous owner at the end of 1989, and ran it as a single handed practice until 1995.
As well as having an interest in small animal practice in general, I also enjoy treating 'exotic' pets.
My wife and I live with our cat and two dogs in the New Forest, where we are (still) in the process of renovating a cottage.
Hazel Curtis BVetMed, MRCVS
After qualifying from the RVC in London, I spent several years in mixed practice in Dorset before joining Mainstone Vets in 2009.
I enjoy all aspects of my work at the practice, especially soft tissue surgery and diagnostics.
I live in Hamble with my husband, daughter Erin and cat Busa.
Outside of my veterinary work, I enjoy hiking, running and camping with my family.
Mrs. A.Hammond BVSc, MRCVS
I qualified from Bristol University Veterinary School in 1986, and joined Mainstone at the end of 2000, after spending several years in small animal practice in Southampton, where I live with my husband & family.
I often visit schools to give talks to young children about 'Life as a Vet', as part of our client education programme.
I am the 'Cat Advocate' for the practice as well as dealing with a lot of the dental caseload.
My interests outside veterinary work include gardening, cycling & walking.
Mrs Adrienne Davison BVetMed, MRCVS
I joined the practice in May 2016, having spent several years in small animal practice in South Hampshire. Like Hazel, I am a graduate of the Royal Veterinary College in London and in adition to my regular veterinary expertise, I have an interest in Western Veterinary Acupuncture.
I live in New Milton with my husband and two cats, Albert & Isaac and enjoy teaching gymnastics to children in my spare time.
Miss Emma Eldridge MA, VetMB, MRCVS
I am the latest recruit to the team, joining in January 2017, having previously worked in mixed practice in the North of England. I moved to Southampton with my boyfriend and dog Jess, a Collie cross.
When not working, I play football for a local team and enjoy walking and cycling in the surrounding countryside.
