 If your pet has a problem during surgery hours, please telephone the practice immediately and we will ensure that you're offered an appointment on a priority basis. Please make it clear that the matter is not routine and we will do our utmost to attend to you at the earliest opportunity.

Our out of hours service is provided by Vets Now who are the equivalent of A&E for your pet. They are open at nights, weekends and bank holidays working alongside ourselves to care for your pet.

How do I contact Vets Now? You can telephone them direct on 01772 378764. Please call before attending the emergency clinic as the staff may need to prepare for your arrival.

Can I telephone for advice? Yes of course. Vets Now staff are able to give advice over the phone and they will tell you if they think it's safe for you to wait until the following morning to see a vet.

Where is the Vets Now clinic situated? It is centrally situated at 90 Moor Lane, Preston PR1 1JQ. A map and directions can be downloaded from www.vets-now.com or collected from ourselves.

Can the Vet come to my house? Although house visits are sometimes necessary, in nearly all situations the best possible care is available at the Vets Now clinic. Bringing your pet to the surgery means that the necessary drugs and equipemt are available straight away to begin treatment. If you do attend the clinic, please bring any medication that your pet is taking with you.

How do I pay for this service? Payment is made at the time of treatment either by cash, debit or credit card.
