Gregory DunlopGregory Dunlop

Veterinary Surgeon

MA VetMB MRCVS

 
Gregory graduated from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 1994. After working for several years in mixed and equine practice he decided to concentrate on small animal practice. Whilst in London, he had the opportunity to work with recognised specialists in feline medicine. He has a special interest in orthopaedic surgery and is currently studying for an RCVS certificate in small animal surgery. Gregory has two burmese cats, a black labrador and a german short-haired pointer.

Heather SmithHeather Smith

Veterinary Surgeon

MVB MRCVS

 
After graduating from University College Dublin Veterinary school in 2003, Heather spent two years working in mixed practice in Armagh before joining Hollygate in October 2005. She is particularly interested in small animal medicine and is studying for an RCVS certificate in small animal medicine. Heather has a springer spaniel as well as a horse.

Caroline WainwrightCaroline Wainwright

Veterinary Nurse

Caroline qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2006. Before joining Hollygate, Caroline worked in a mixed practice and then in a small animal hospital. She is particularly interested in medical aspects of veterinary nursing and in canine behaviour. As well as her nursing duties, Caroline is involved with running several nurse clinics and organising puppy parties. At home, Caroline has a dalmation, a whippet and a cat.

Lesley-Ann LyonsLesley-Ann Lyons

Veterinary Nurse

Lesley-Ann is a highly experienced veterinary nurse, who qualified in 1993. Before joining us on her return from maternity leave in September 2006, she was head nurse at Clare Veterinary Group. As well as her nursing experience, she worked for a year and a half for Hills Pet Food. She puts her knowledge of pet nutrition to good use by running an obesity clinic for cats and dogs who have enjoyed a little too much of the good life! In addition to her nursing duties, Lesley-Ann performs many of the post-operative checks, suture removals and bandage changes. At home Lesley-Ann has 2 cats, a black labrador and a crossbreed dog.

Alison GalbraithAlison Galbraith

Client Care Manager

 
Alison is in charge of arranging appointments, dealing with queries, and helping clients buy food or other accessories for their pet. She is a trained Pet Insurance Adviser. In addition, she is responsible for a lot of the administrative work involved in running the practice. A confirmed animal lover, Alison has a much-loved West Highland White called Duffy.
