Veterinary Surgeon

Gregory graduated from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 1994. After working for several years in mixed and equine practice he decided to concentrate on small animal practice. Gregory opened Hollygate in 2002. Since then, he has concentrated on developing his skills in orthopaedic surgery and obtained his RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2009. Gregory spends much of his time working at our partner practice, Earlswood Veterinary Hospital, primarily dealing with orthopaedic and spinal cases. Gregory has two burmese cats, a black labrador and a german short-haired pointer.

Client Care Manager

 
Alison is in charge of arranging appointments, dealing with queries, and helping clients buy food or other accessories for their pet. She is a trained Pet Insurance Adviser. In addition, she is responsible for a lot of the administrative work involved in running the practice. A confirmed animal lover, Alison has a much-loved West Highland White called Duffy.

Gina began her veterinary nurse training in 2004 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2007. After qualifying, she spent a year in Australia, during which time she worked at the vet school at the University of Melbourne. She is particularly interested in medical nursing and canine and feline behaviour and is currently studying for the Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. Gina has a cat and a dog.

Lesley-Ann is a highly experienced veterinary nurse, who qualified in 1993. Before joining us on her return from maternity leave in September 2006, she was head nurse at Clare Veterinary Group. As well as her nursing experience, she worked for a year and a half for Hills Pet Food. She puts her knowledge of pet nutrition to good use by running an obesity clinic for cats and dogs who have enjoyed a little too much of the good life! At home Lesley-Ann has 2 cats, a black labrador and a crossbreed dog. She also puts a lot of effort into finding stray and abandoned pets new homes.

Originally from New Zealand, Cat has a diploma in naturopathy and worked in a polo yard before taking up veterinary nursing in 2002. She qualified as a VN in 2004 at a small animal hospital. Cat does not have any pets at present but would like to get a Blue Heeler at some stage.
