24 hour emergency service 

If your pet has a problem during surgery hours, please telephone the practice immediately and we will ensure that you're offered an appointment on a priority basis. Please make it clear that the matter is not routine and we will do our utmost to attend to you at the earliest opportunity.

Outside normal surgery hours emergency cover is provided by Vets Now.  This service is located at our partner practice Earlswood Veterinary Hospital at  193 Belmont Road, Belfast and is staffed by vets and nurses who specialise in emergency care.  Their telephone number is 028 90651729.  If you need to phone them out of hours you will get through first of all to a qualified veterinary nurse, who will take some preliminary details, including which veterinary surgery you normally attend.  The nurse will then put you through to the vet on duty as soon as possible either for advice or to arrange an appointment.  

Don't worry if your pet is being treated for an ongoing problem - the staff at Vets Now are able to access our clinical records and so will be able to check all details of test results and treatments on your pet's clinical notes.
