No treatment

This is only appropriate for simple fractures where the fracture surface has been covered by new hard (reparative) dentine and the roots are normal on x ray.

Filling (Restoration)

This is appropriate for simple fractures when the fracture surface is not covered by reparative

dentine but the roots of the tooth are normal on x ray.

Root canal filling

This may be appropriate for complicated fractures

Extraction

This is the treatment of choice if restoration is not performed on

simple tooth fractures that are not covered by reparative dentine.
