|  | Mrs Alison Ewbank Veterinary Surgeon and Partner
B Vet Med, MRCVS | | | | Alison qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1983 and is the practice principal, having purchased the practice in 1990. Clinically Alison enjoys dermatology and general medicine, but other commitments - practice administration and three school age children limit her clinical work to a part time basis at present.
Alison's hobbies are gardening, reading and yoga. |

 | Mr Michael Probert Veterinary Surgeon and Partner
B Vet Med, MRCVS | | | | Mike qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1997 and came straight to Brookend. He enjoys all aspects of general practice and is especially interested in orthopaedic surgery.
He has played rugby for Witham, and also enjoys golf and skiing, and travelling to watch the Welsh rugby team in action. |

 | Mrs Rebecca Ramsey Veterinary Surgeon
BVM&S. BSc. MRCVS | | | | Rebecca qualified from Edinburgh University. She works part time at Brookend as she has two young sons.
Rebecca has a keen interest in exotic pets and general medicine.
She also enjoys swimming and going for long walks with her dogs. |

| Mr Alan Auld | Veterinary Surgeon | | | | Alan has returned to Brookend after a break of 6 years, during which he spent some time travelling in Australia. |

 | Sharon Logan Senior Veterinary Nurse
VN | | | | Sharon is a qualified veterinary nurse and has worked with Alison Ewbank since 1986. She is married with two children and so currently working part time. She has the specific jobs of dealing with the many insurance claims we process, and stock control, but whenever possible she still enjoys some patient contact, and watching interesting operations.
Sharon's hobbies are dog walking, cross stitch and glass painting. |

 | Katie Blackery Veterinary Nurse
VN | | | | Katie is our head nurse. She qualified in 2004, training at Brookend and Writtle College, having joined us as a school leaver.
She enjoys running the Brookend diet clinic, and also has extensive knowledge of dog behavioural problems.
She will soon be returning from maternity leave following the birth of her daughter last December.
Katie's hobbies include reading thrillers, running and playing with her two cats. She also enjoys travelling. |

 | Kim Tomkin Veterinary Nurse
NVQ Small Animal Care | | | | Kim is a veterinary nurse, and has been at Brookend since leaving school nine years ago. She enjoys the day to day interaction with the animals and has a particular interest in hand-rearing newborns. Kim's hobbies are swimming, reading crime novels and playing football for Witham Town FC. |

 | Laura Brown Veterinary Nurse VN
| | | | Laura joined us in August 2004 as a receptionist and then transferred to veterinary nurse training, having gained a place at the College of Animal Welfare in Hertfordshire. She qualified in 2008 and is now enjoying running nurse clinics and puppy parties. |

 | Beverley Balfour Trainee Veterinary Nurse
| | | | Beverley joined us in 2009, having always wanted to work with animals.
She has a cat called Alfie, and her hobbies are camping, bike rides and walking. |

 | Mary Jones Receptionist
| | | | Mary is another very longstanding member of staff having joined the surgery in 1988, even before it became Brookend. She enjoys talking to the clients and has completed four customer care courses. She is also a qualified nutritional advisor.
Mary's hobbies include reading autobiographies, going to the cinema, and completing crosswords and name games. She also enjoys holiday travel and would love to visit Israel one day. |

| Jenny Kelly | Receptionist | | | | Jenny is the newest member of our reception team, joining us in 2008.She has bought a wealth of experience of reception work to the practice. In Jenny's spare time she enjoys reading, listening to music and relaxing in her garden (when the british summer permits!) |

 | Jenni Moore Receptionist
| | | | Jenni is one of our receptionists. She is in her element when greeting the new puppies and kittens.

 | Janette Groombridge Receptionist
| | | | Janette joined the team in 2005. she has a collection of pets including 4 cats, 2 rabbits and 2 guinea pigs. Her hobbies are painting and watching her beloved football team Arsenal as much as she can. |

 | Margaret Jones Receptionist
| | | | Margaret joined the practice in 2005. She has been a puppy walker for Guide Dogs for the Blind for many years. He main interests are football and tennis, and she likes to go to Wimbledon whenever she gets the chance.

 | Alison Swann Practice Manager
| | | | Alison Swann has worked with Alison Ewbank since 1986, and for her since 1992. She helps keep the finances running smoothly.
Her hobbies include spinning and weaving, riding, and playing bowls in the winter. |

 | Karen Jones Practice Administrator
| | | | Karen has been with the team since 2004 and assists the practice manager in the day to day running of the office. She has completed her Veterinary Practice Administration Certificate.
Karen owns Tigger the cat after adopting him when he was abandoned at the surgery with 2 broken legs when just 3 months old. |
