Old age pensioners
For the benefit of OAPs we offer a 10% discount on our fees on Thursday mornings.
Parking
There is a large car park to the rear of the surgery.

Medical and Surgical Facilities
- We dispense a full range of medicines from the premises.
- We have a fully equipped X-ray room and two operating theatres where many types of surgery are carried out.
- There are separate wards for cats and dogs, fitted out with hygienic stainless steel kennels and cages. There is also an isolation kennel for infectious cases.

Nurse Clinics
There are daily nurse clinics for procedures such as suture removal, flea treatments, nail clipping, anal gland emptying and doggy weight watchers.
Laboratory
We have a laboratory on the premises. The equipment includes an automatic blood analyser. Many tests can now be performed on the day of sampling at the surgery, and the prompt results help the vets to make an early and accurate diagnosis.
Waiting room products
The surgery stocks a wide selection of animal health products, ranging from wormers and flea sprays to animal toothbrushes and toothpaste. We also provide an extensive range of premium dietary products and we are always happy to give advice on feeding your pet.

Repeat Prescriptions
Please note that, in order to comply with the rules and regulations of both the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, we can only provide repeat prescriptions to animals 'under our care'. This is defined by the RCVS to mean that the animal must have been seen 'recently enough or often enough for the veterinary surgeon to have personal knowledge of the animal to make a diagnosis and prescribe'.
In most cases this means that we must have SEEN your animal within the last SIX MONTHS, although where closer monitoring or stronger drugs are required this may need to be more often. This is in the interest of your animals health and is a legal requirement.
