Kitamber Balinese and Siamese

GCCF Registered

Thank you for taking the time to view Kitamber Balinese and Siamese Web site. We are a small cattery breeding beautiful traditional and modern Balinese, sometimes Siamese and Balinese Variants. We are GCCF registered and members of the Balinese Cat Society and The Balinese and Siamese Cat Club. Our aim is to breed healthy, happy, fun loving Balinese and Siamese kittens, well prepared to go to loving permanent homes.

Kitamber Viviette and her daughter Kitamber Ellie Oddball

A Balinese is a Siamese with a slightly longer coat because there is no undercoat the coat lies close to the body and feels silky to the touch. Balinese have graceful elegant bodies and blue oriental shaped eyes, large ears and a plume for a tail (our personal favourite part). They come in nearly all the colour range of the Siamese including Tabby and Tortie points.

A Balinese Variant is a cross between a Siamese and Balinese. They look like Siamese, their coats short but thicker and more luxurious to the touch. They all carry the long hair gene which is essential in the breeding of Balinese to widen the gene pool. They cannot be shown under GCCF but can be with Felix Britannica.

Our House We live near the market town of Chippenham in the West Country, approximately 4 miles south of the M4 Junction 17. The A4 coach road from London passes through Chippenham then onto Bath via Bristol. Chippenham is also on the main rail route from London Paddington.

We would like to say thank you to the people who introduced us to this delightful breed and thank you to Robert Fox for his pictures.

Peter and Maxine.
